Dr. Joukar shares holiday tips from RiteCare Medical Centers
Miami’s Largest Privately Held Urgent Care Centers open 7 days
each week for all your health care needs.
Miami, FL, December 11, 2012 – RITECARE Medical Center, one of Miami’s premier providers of Urgent / Walk In Care, is asking parents and grandparents to practice toy safety this holiday season. “This is a joyous time of year and it should not be spoiled by unsafe toys,” said Hossein Joukar, MD, founder of RITECARE. “Even though it is the holiday season, parents and grandparents should practice toy safety and be careful about children playing with their new toys,” added Dr. Joukar.
Some toys you bring home for the holidays may not be safe for your children. The U.S. Public Interest Research Group (PIRG) released its annual report on “Trouble in Toyland.” The group studied more than 200 toys on store shelves at major retailers and dollar stores and determined a dozen of them could be dangerous to kids.
